London

Hi everyone. We made it to London, exhausted and excited. Mom arrived after we did, negotiating Heathrow airport, the train to Paddington and a taxi ride all by herself. We were very proud of her. We, however, got taken by the taxi driver and got a tour we didn't expect. We all settled in for the night ready for the next day, but then I woke up sick. That's why I haven't been able to blog.  I stayed in the hotel while Allen, Debbie, and Mom went on the Hop On/Off bus. They had a really good time running all over the city. I slept all day then finally felt better this morning. We visited the Queens gallery (lots of portraits), the Royal Mews (where the royal carriages & horses are kept) and Kensington Palace. We also had "Tea" at Kensington, very expensive but fun. It started out a beautiful day then ended up being cold & rainy. We were tired when we got back to the hotel. I think that's going to be the theme for the rest of the trip.
